About the Association

KCRPA has existed since September 2007, and is an association formed to support all existing and future resource families. We are under the umbrella of the Maryland Foster Parent Association. The word resource is used so that we are able to include Foster, Kinship and Adoptive Families.

KCRPA is non-profit organization that is currently working to obtain a 501(c)3 tax number which will allow us to receive donations from the public.

KCRPA is currently headed by Helen Nicholson, a dedicated foster parent and Board Member of the Maryland Foster Parent Association
